In the early 90’s, I was in NYC on a buying trip for my store. After the convention center shut down, I would kill time walking the streets aimlessly. I discovered this vintage clothing boutique Smylonylon and was immediately struck by the instore music. I picked up several of the mixtapes they were selling. Attributed to Alex Gloor (of In Flagranti) and the shop owner Chris Brick, these mixes are fantastic exercises in crate diggin, and I offer #21 here for your listening pleasure.
